Accepted picture files
Upload a JPG, PNG or WebP file up to 10 MB using the product’s personalisation form. Choose text, a picture or both, and add any notes about the layout.
Start with your clearest original
Use the original photo or artwork where possible. Screenshots and images copied from social media can lose detail. A sharp, well-lit picture with a clear subject gives us more to work with.
Check your crop
Keep faces, lettering and other important details inside the engraving area shown in the product preview. Leave a little space around them.
Keep lettering readable
Shorter wording and simple designs usually remain clearer on small pieces. Check every name, date and line of text before checkout.
Colour and engraving
Photo engraving reproduces light and dark detail through marks on the material. It does not reproduce the colours of the original photograph. The appearance varies across materials and finishes.
Use artwork you have permission to reproduce

Final proof before engraving
The product preview gives an indication of layout. We email a final digital proof for your approval before engraving, and can suggest changes where fine detail, image quality or the material affects the result.
