Your design, step by step
- Choose a standard personalised product. Check the material, dimensions and description. Bespoke boards, signs, heritage plaques and metal marking are agreed by quote through our contact page.
- Add your design. Choose text, a picture, or both. Enter your wording and choose a font style. Upload a JPG, PNG or WebP picture up to 10 MB, then choose its fit and position. Add any notes that will help us prepare your layout.
- Check the preview and details. Check spelling, names, dates, image fit and placement. The on-screen preview is an indication of layout, rather than an exact picture of the finished engraving. Tick the details-check box before adding the piece to your basket.
- Review your basket and complete checkout. Your wording, artwork link and chosen options appear with the item. Check them before entering your delivery details and paying.
- Approve your final digital proof. We email a proof for your approval before engraving. We may suggest changes where detail, contrast or the material affects the result. Production starts after you approve the final artwork.
What the preview shows
Engraving marks the surface of the material rather than printing ink. Contrast and tone vary with the material, finish and original picture. Natural grain and texture make each piece different.
Making and dispatch
For standard personalised products, we aim to dispatch within one week of final artwork approval. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed dispatch or delivery date. Lead times may be longer while we get established, and carrier delivery is additional. Bespoke timescales are agreed with your quote.
